Another year come and gone, and the PSP homebrew scene moves from strength to strength.

It's been a wild year.  Who could have predicted,  at the start of 2006, that we would have a custom firmware, that takes the best of the latest Sony code (including a PS1 emulator!), and incorporates full homebrew support (plus some slightly less-kosher features... ), available to just about every PSP?

And yet that's exactly what we have in the form of Dark Alex's OE firmware.  Not only that, but the ability to emulate other firmware versions more or less perfectly.

Whatever the coming year brings, I'm sure it will be exciting.   And you can guarantee that Noobz will be there, doing our best to help the effort to advance the scene.

In the meantime, for those who have just got into the PSP homebrew scene, perhaps with a new PSP for Christmas, we've added the beginnings of what will hopefully become a comprehensive homebrew FAQ as part of the Homebrew Database.  With any luck, it will help to demystify what is becoming an increasingly complex scene.  You can find a link in the navbar on the left.

I started to play homebrews with the first eloader from Fanjita and could not upgrade it to avoid to lose these great softwares. And then came the 3.0X OE-X big thing (check the last one!).
